Hello,
a bit about me:
I am a Mechanical Engineer for RFA Engineering. I do finite element analysis for John Deere Construction and Forestry vehicles. In my free time, I also work at a local Bicycle shop as a Mechanic.
During my MS in Mechanical Engineering, I designed, virtually tested, and built a titanium mountain bike. As a graduate research assistant, I went to AAOP (American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists), where I presented a poster. My graduate research was on the development of a multiaxial testing device for Ankle-foot orthoses.
My BSE is in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on design and a minor in Art. I gained valuable experience as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Calfee Designs, a leading manufacturer of carbon fiber and bamboo bicycles (Summer 2023). And I assisted in the development of driving simulators (miniSims) at the Driving Safety Research Institute (DSRI).
Outside of school and work, I am a triathlete and a cyclist.
